This entry was taken from my diary, dated August 6, 2012. I just want to share some insights that God has given me, and I would like to thank the AMiCUS organization for giving me this opportunity to share this insight to others. I'm not much of a writer so please bear with me. :-)

"Taste and see that the lord is good, blessed is the man that trusteth in Him." Psalm 34:8. As finite created beings, it has been always an innate desire for us to seek and experience God firsthand. It always gives us the "uplifted feeling" when we listen to the life changing experiences by spiritual giants like Pastor David Gates and the like who have extreme experiences with God. But just hearing and reading stories of faith won't take us that much.
A realization took me one day while teaching my senior students in Physics, as we discuss about the Newton's 2nd Law of motion. To recall, the 2nd Law states that; acceleration is directly proportional to the magnitude of applied force and inversely proportional to the magnitude of mass(amount of matter). This law not only relates to the physical aspect of our lives, but also in the spiritual aspect of our life, if we put it this way; the magnitude of our belief in God is directly proportional to the magnitude of our experience with Him, and is inversely proportional to the mass of unconfessed sins within us (amount of unconfessed sins). We often enjoy sitting on church pews listening to some sermons contented and happy yet our real life application of these "lessons" lack and thus the consecration of our hearts are left unchecked. There are so many instances in the history of Israel that the divine judgment was cast upon the people of God because they forgot to consecrate themselves to God in the upside of their lives, this signifies the severity of the consequences of our negligence to our duty to God.
"But there is an evidence that is open to all- the most highly educated and the most illiterate- the evidence of experience. God invites us to prove for ourselves the reality of His word, the truth of His promises." -FLB 126.    He bids us come and taste His blessings through first-hand experience. As we are immersed in the work of Christ firsthand, we gain knowledge of Him that we cannot gain by just hearing and reading stories of faith. And by knowing Him more we are drawn closer to His likeness as we  live in faith as He did in faith to the Father while He was here on earth. As this happens, we open the window of blessing from heaven to our lives thus removing all our doubts to His ability to supply our needs. Every person who have deep experience with God can "set to his seal that God is true." John 3:33 This serves as a living testimony to those who are still living under the dark clouds of doubt in God's providence, thus we have something to share because we have gained experience from Him, and the effectiveness of our testimony is dependent on our conviction to His love which is in turn dependent to the degree of our experience with Him. It all boils down to the same thought!
"Let the youth make the word of God the food of the mind and soul."-FLB 16.5 Thus when they grow up they tend to search a lasting relationship with God for this is the truth in which they have been brought up, for "they know that they are not following cunningly devised fables" -FLB 16.4 It would be our greatest privilege to know God by working with Him and by working with Him, we can grow in faith in Him thus elevating our character to the heavenly standard. . . . . In His light shall we see light, until mind and heart and soul are transformed into the image of His holiness- FLB 16.5.
